Maintenance Operator

A leading manufacturer specializing in custom electrical insulation and composite materials is seeking a Maintenance Operator to support facility and equipment upkeep across multiple locations. This hands‑on role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with a strong commitment to safety and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on building infrastructure and production equipment (manual and CNC).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing issues.
• Conduct facility inspections and preventative‑maintenance tasks.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve equipment problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work orders and spare parts.
• Collaborate with contracted repair personnel when needed.
• Support cross‑training and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Trade school or associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Ability to read schematics and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb and work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (subject to change)

Pay

$21/hr
