About the role
We are looking for an all-round bicycle mechanic to join one of the largest bike shops in central Netherlands. In this varied role, you’ll combine technical work with customer interaction. You’ll perform repairs, prepare bikes for sale, and advise customers in-store. You may also handle tasks like cashier work, warranty processing, scheduling, and occasional bike deliveries. You’ll be deployed across one of our 6 stores, ensuring no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
- Perform bicycle repairs and maintenance
- Prepare bikes for sale (assembly, tuning, and quality checks)
- Assist customers with advice and recommendations
- Handle cashier duties and warranty claims
- Create work schedules and manage logistics
- Occasionally deliver bikes to customers
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bicycle mechanic
- Strong affinity for technical work and quality craftsmanship
- Service-oriented mindset with a focus on solutions
- Ability to work independently
- Flexible and adaptable attitude
- Fluent in Dutch
- Willingness to be deployed across multiple locations
