Allied / Tech - MRI Technologist

About the role

We are seeking an MRI Tech to provide specialized imaging services in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans with a focus on safety, including implant research and adherence to scanning protocols
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment and manage patient care in a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching hospital setting
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including BLS and ARRT (MR) certifications
• Assist with interdisciplinary support and maintain documentation using PACS and Epic systems
• Experience with anesthesia and pediatric patients is preferred

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2+ years experience in a similar setting, preferably in a trauma or teaching hospital
• Knowledge of MRI safety, implant research, and pediatric imaging
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong understanding of patient care and imaging procedures
• Must hold a valid compact or KY state license at time of submission
• Experience with Siemens MR, Epic, and PACS preferred
• Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted; candidates must be eligible for travel assignment
• Rehire eligibility is verified, and prior employment at the facility must be disclosed at submission

• Conduct MRI procedures efficiently and accurately
• Follow safety protocols and research implant compatibility
• Collaborate with medical staff and manage patient needs
• Maintain detailed documentation and utilize imaging systems effectively

Additional Details

• No call responsibilities
• Modules are billable, averaging 6.5 hours, completed during orientation and annually
