Allied Health Assistant - Medical Imaging

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Medical Imaging team in the delivery of health care services to patients under the direct supervision of a Medical Imaging Professional and consistent with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District policies, procedures and standards

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent work experience and/or a willingness to work towards certification with the support of SESLHD
• Proven interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy or a willingness to learn
• Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and work with minimum supervision, to organise work priorities and manage time effectively
• Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles
• Ability to work varying shifts with varying start times, including rotating weekend shifts
• Ability and experience in manual handling activities such as pushing trolleys/beds, handling of patients and use of manual handling equipment

Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent work experience and/or a willingness to work towards certification with the support of SESLHD.

Pay

$65704.30 plus superannuation
