Allergist/Clinical Immunologist >>>

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in allergy and immunology (minimum 8 half-day clinics per week).
• Participate in consult services and provide care to patients with and without fellows-in training.
• Supervise and mentor fellows-in-training in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Provide educational activities, including giving periodic Medical Grand Rounds lectures to faculty, fellows, residents, and students.
• Participate in quarterly evaluations of fellows in training.
• Participate in quality initiatives and improvement projects.
• Participate with fellows in research opportunities or self-directed research.
• Comply promptly with billing, documentation, credentialing, and other administrative requirements.
• Engage in service responsibilities, including monthly attendance at faculty meetings and participating in University, School of Medicine, Departmental, or Section committee work.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
• Experience in teaching and mentoring fellows.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
