Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient care in allergy and immunology (minimum 8 half-day clinics per week).
- Participate in consult services and provide care to patients with and without fellows-in training.
- Supervise and mentor fellows-in-training in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Provide educational activities, including giving periodic Medical Grand Rounds lectures to faculty, fellows, residents, and students.
- Participate in quarterly evaluations of fellows in training.
- Participate in quality initiatives and improvement projects.
- Participate with fellows in research opportunities or self-directed research.
- Comply promptly with billing, documentation, credentialing, and other administrative requirements.
- Engage in service responsibilities, including monthly attendance at faculty meetings and participating in University, School of Medicine, Departmental, or Section committee work.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring fellows.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
