About the role
Located in Arverne, NY, we’re hiring Access-A-Ride Drivers to respond to transportation requests and provide door‑to‑door service for disabled passengers, delivering high‑quality care, treatment and customer service. The position is with AMR, part of Global Medical Response, which emphasizes compassionate medical care and core behaviors such as keeping care at the center, raising your hand, seeking to understand, finding a way together, and being accountable.
Responsibilities
- Transport disabled passengers to and from their locations
- Provide door‑to‑door service for passengers
- Work weekends (required)
- Exercise special care and sensitivity for each passenger
Requirements
- Valid New York State Driver’s License
- CDL Class CP
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- At least 21 years of age

Hourly rate ranges from $23.57 to $30.17 based on experience.
Schedule
Afternoon shifts: 1 pm – 11 pm, seven days a week, for both full‑time and part‑time positions. Weekend work is required.
