About the role
This role is primarily for the assistance of ID, CD, and technical drawing sets for our hospitality design projects in AutoCAD. You will also assist in 3D modeling in SketchUp to make adjustments to millwork, lighting, and other detailed areas of the project.
Qualifications
- Proven 2-5 years experience in high-end hospitality design
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, & Canva
- Enscape & other rendering software a plus
- Proficiency in Design Spec, Google Suite, and Milanote a plus
- A solid understanding of the design process to communicate effectively about project details to fabricators, vendors, consultants, and clients
- Knowledge of construction methods for millwork, custom lighting fabrication, etc., to communicate via drawings and written form to vendors
- Organized and a good communicator
- English speaker; Spanish or Mandarin a plus
Pay
$35 hourly
Schedule
Part time position with the potential to turn full time. Fully Remote. Opportunity for in-person site visits only in CT, NYC, & PHL (travel to these visits will be compensated)
