Purpose and Impact

Amentum provides mission critical intelligence, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, digital forensics, and threat finance analysis across multi-functional teams supporting a global mission. Our analysts directly support the USACIC mission of Army CI/CT support through expert language and intelligence professionals. We employ teaming concepts in a fast-paced mission cycle providing analysts with the ability to operationalize intelligence throughout the world in near real-time.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
  • Provide support to CI investigation through liaison with Counterintelligence Agents and other members of the DoD and intelligence community.
  • Provide record checks, data research and social networking analysis through the use of intelligence and law enforcement databases and search engines.
  • Provide in-depth research regarding biographical intelligence in order to aid investigations, support subject interviews, and case development.
  • Conduct research using social networking tools, digital mapping programs, and law enforcement database and research tools, to include Open Source (OSINT) and classified searches.
  • Analyze intelligence information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications through comprehensive knowledge of intelligence threat analysis to include forecasting and/or other analytical methodologies.
  • Conduct research and analysis of military, political, economic, technical and other developments within assigned areas to conduct valid threat assessments.
  • Identify intelligence gaps and assist in the development of intelligence collection programs.
  • Advise team leaders and chain of command on intelligence findings.
  • Plan, coordinate, and synthesize research to prepare all-source intelligence products and responses.
  • Ensure products fulfill DA, DoD, and national – level intelligence requirements.
  • Brief intelligence assessments and positions to senior Battalion Army and civilian personnel.
  • Develop recommendations regarding the development and maintenance of SOPs for assigned tasks.
  • Conduct all tasks in support of operations under AR 381-20.
  • Assess information from the IC-wide reporting elements to de-conflict information, identify the value of reporting, assess whether the information addresses requirements and contribute to collection.
  • Produce technical analysis white papers and presentations in support of ongoing investigations to identify intelligence gaps and leads for investigations.
  • Conduct investigative trend analysis in order to allow Government leadership to focus investigative resources.
  • Produce analytical information reports from reviews of investigative and IC database searches in support of ongoing national security investigations and insider threat reports.
  • Produce analytical information reports from reviews of Law Enforcement database searches in support of ongoing national security investigations, FIE and insider threat reports.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands

Office environment with limited physical requirements, position does require mental demands to gather and analyze information to support intelligence and operations.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and Experience as a civilian or military all source intelligence analyst and Completed a foundational intelligence analyst course.
  • Experience as an All-source intelligence analysts in the planning, collection, and implementation of all intelligence disciplines across the full spectrum of operations that includes imagery, signals, measurements, human, and open-source data into information to support national defense.
  • A proven track record of fusing multidisciplined tools and databases for all-source analysis production.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field and 12 years’ relevant experience; with a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, or
  • A Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of relevant experience, or
  • A US government clearance: Current Top Secret/SCI Clearance Required: TS//SCI.

Minimum Education

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 14 years’ relevant intelligence analysis experience; with a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, or A Master’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience.

Graduate of in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or Military Service equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-discipline intelligence support and multi-domain operations.

Compensation Details

$119,000 - $126,000
