About the role
ECU Health is a mission-driven, 1,708-bed academic health care system serving more than 1.4 million people in 29 eastern North Carolina counties.

The flagship ECU Health Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, and ECU Health Maynard Children’s Hospital serve as the primary teaching hospitals for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Current license to practice medicine in North Carolina.
- Experience in emergency medicine preferred.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
