About the role

Wildland is looking for a pantry and garde manger cook for PM service. We are also looking for a part-time pasta production cook with hands-on experience making fresh pastas.

Open night and day, and located in Carlsbad Village right down the street from our three other restaurants (Campfire, Jeune et Jolie, Lilo), and just a few blocks from the ocean, Wildland is a restaurant, bar, and bakery inspired by the vibrant community of North County, celebrating the creative culture of California and bringing bold ideas to the timeless traditions of France and Italy.

During the day, sunshine pours into the space—once an old boogie board factory—and we welcome guests to order at the counter, grab a seat, and hang out. At night, the restaurant comes alive with music, dialed-in service, genuine hospitality, and a whole lot of delicious food, cocktails, and wine. This is a place for a night out, whether with friends, family, or on a hot date.

Responsibilities

• Perform pantry and garde manger duties for PM service
• Produce fresh pasta (for part-time pasta production role)

Requirements

• Valid Food Handlers Card
• Ability to perform essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with federal, state, and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, climb stairs and steps, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment
