About the role

Mr. Appliance is looking for Appliance Repair Technicians to provide high-quality maintenance services for customer appliances. As an Appliance Repair Technician, you are the key component in providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair home appliances and equipment
• Provide cost estimates for repairs
• Effectively communicate with the customer to ensure they understand the services needed
• Order parts and ensure efficient use of company materials
• Collect payment for work performed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• EPA Type 1 or Universal CFC Certification required
• Previous experience of one year or more in appliance repair is a plus

Benefits & pay

• Pay range: $60,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience in appliance repair, with opportunities for bonuses and commissions
• Compensation type subject to negotiation; technicians are usually paid on a daily guarantee to start and eventually a commission based on revenue
