About the role
The role involves caring for All-Abilities Park facilities, ensuring safety, and facilitating community events.
Responsibilities
- Care for park facilities including playgrounds, picnic areas, and walking paths.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and safe for use.
- Facilitate community events such as picnics, sports games, and educational workshops.
- Maintain cleanliness and order within the park grounds.
- Communicate effectively with visitors and staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor tasks.
- Basic computer skills for managing event schedules and communications.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is beneficial but not required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in park maintenance or similar field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with the public.
