Alfresco Developer

About the role

Halvik Corp delivers a wide range of services to 13 executive agencies and 15 independent agencies, supporting Digital Services, Advanced Analytics, AI/ML, Cyber Security, and Cutting‑Edge Technology across the US Government. The Alfresco Developer will support the OST Apps project by providing technical expertise for the migration of enterprise content and data from one government environment to another. The primary focus is the installation, configuration, development, and ongoing support of the latest version of the Alfresco platform within an AWS environment, including deployment to Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of Alfresco platform implementation and content/data migration activities, including development of migration strategies, processes, and technical solutions.
• Install, configure, and support the latest version of Alfresco within the target government environment; monitor performance and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure system stability.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, project manager, infrastructure teams, security personnel, and other cross‑functional teams to support migration planning, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Deploy and configure Alfresco on AWS, specifically on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), including repositories, content models, metadata, workflows, permissions, and integrations.
• Compile, package, configure, and install custom application code and related components within the AWS environment.
• Support application deployments, upgrades, troubleshooting, and configuration across development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement and support the Audit Database ETL process.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
• Experience: 10 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years specialized in relevant technologies.
• Technical proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Alfresco and strong understanding of AWS software.
• Compliance: Must meet DOT OST Contract requirements.
• Certifications: Alfresco certification preferred (not required); relevant certifications in Java development, Linux, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), or enterprise content management are desirable.

• Demonstrated success in Federal contracting.
• Familiarity with Alfresco development and agile methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
