About the Role

Alfredo J. Maldonado serves as the Market Head for New York and the Northeast US, based in the New York City office. In this role, he oversees operations and growth strategies for the region.

Background

Before joining Insigneo, Alfredo spent over 21 years at UBS International in various capacities and locations. His roles included:

• Product sales specialist trading structured products
• Sales manager for the UBS International office in Miami (2006), where he helped advisors grow their business by providing strategic and actionable ideas and fostering a positive culture
• Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast (2010), supporting growth and vision for the California Complex, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Pasadena, San Diego, and establishing branches in Santa Barbara and Honolulu
• Assistant Complex Director and Head of Sales for one of UBS Private Bank’s largest wealth management offices in New York (2013), managing over $10 billion in assets under management with a focus on Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East
• Branch manager for UBSI New York and Coral Gables

Qualifications

• Graduated with honors from Curry College in Milton, MA, with a degree in Management, a minor in Finance and IT
• Holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 9, 10, and 63 licenses
• Fluent in Spanish and English
