Alcohol and Drug Services - Service Manager
About the role
NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking an experienced and motivated Alcohol and Drug Services Service Manager to lead and develop services across North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP).
Responsibilities
- Manage integrated health and social care community alcohol and drug recovery services
- Ensure effective management and support for the Senior Manager in managing Ward 5 Woodland View and the Alcohol and Drug Partnership
- Lead in setting standards and performance improvements
- Achieve agreed outcomes in promoting, delivering, and integrating Partnership's key objectives
- Implement relevant legislation and national guidance or policy
- Develop and manage professional community alcohol and drug services
- Identify and support preventative work and interventions for crisis situations
- Contribute to wider service agenda and maintain working relationships with various stakeholders
Requirements
The post holder must have a Professional Qualification in Social Work or NHS e.g. CQSW/COT/Registered Nurse or AHP/Diploma or Degree. A post graduate/masters qualification or equivalent knowledge/experience is required. Management and leadership competencies are necessary, along with an in-depth knowledge of relevant policies and legislation.
Qualifications
The post holder must have a Professional Qualification in Social Work or NHS e.g. CQSW/COT/Registered Nurse or AHP/Diploma or Degree. A post graduate/masters qualification or equivalent knowledge/experience is required.
