Albany CT Technologist

Responsibilities

• Interpret a physician's instructions.
• Screen patients for safety.
• Explain CT procedures to patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Select software options and imaging parameters when adjusting a CT scanner.
• Perform scans using computed tomography to create a cross section of patient's internal organs for medical analysis.
• Prepare and administer contrast agents to obtain some images.
• Work in various clinical environments, such as the hospital or diagnostic imaging centers.
• Participate in outstanding customer service.
• Accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT(R) - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists
• Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• Radiology\CT - Computed Tomography required within 1 year of hire.
• 3 years experience in CT preferred.

Pay: $29.22 - $43.83 / hour
