Albany Corrugated Maintenance Technician - ($28.71-$35.60/hr.)

About the role

This position is eligible for relocation incentives. Salary Starting at $28.71-$35.60 (based on skill and experience).

Responsibilities

• Completing mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance activities to identify and correct mechanical defects before they fail.
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, repairing and maintaining all equipment in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
• Installing and repairing mechanical drives, chains, sprockets, gears, belts, and couplings.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Helping to meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals through a quality maintenance program.
• Maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
• Working in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy and high volume environment.
• Performing tasks such as lifting, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling.

Requirements

• Two (2) years or more of rotary machinery industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors and electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry.
• Experience programming PLCs.
• Experience with a manual lathe and milling machine.
• Experience working with 240/480-volt 3 Phase motors.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, Arc welding.

Schedule
