ALASKA HSE ADVISOR

About the role

The HSE Advisor serves as the on-site Health, Safety, and Environmental professional supporting drilling and field operations across the Alaska North Slope.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Support incident prevention and investigation efforts
• Provide leadership and coaching to field personnel on safe work practices
• Partner closely with rig management, operations leadership, and client representatives to identify hazards, mitigate risk, and ensure safe execution of all work activities

Requirements

• Proven experience in HSE roles
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering)
• Preferred certifications in HSE or related fields

• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
