Al's Table - Assistant Restaurant Manager

Assigns and checks work; provides guidance, training, day-to-day direction, tracks and documents attendance records
Affirms payroll accuracy
Aids in managing the front-of-the-house staff, including recruitment and training, ensuring all server Standard Operating Procedures are being followed
Affirms food orders are accurately prepared and delivered timely according to company standards
Affirms the financial aspects of the restaurant operation, including the successful identification of expense reduction through cost control
Analyzes operational problems such as overproduction, waste, theft, and establishes controls
Oversees the guest experience
Recommends measures to improve work procedures and employee performance to increase quality of services and job safety
Plays and monitors daily orders for all alcohol, soft drinks and food supplies keeping costs within budget and in relation to the days guests and/or groups demands
Other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or Equivalent
3+ Years of Food & Beverage Experience
POS Systems Knowledge Preferred (Micros)
Possesses a "hands-on" management style with an eye for detail and strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
Excellent Organizational Skills
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Ability to Work Positively and Cooperatively in a Diverse Team Environment
Excellent Problem Solving Skills
Ability to Lift Up to 50 Pounds
Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, Micros
Basic Mathematical Skills

Frequently Required to Stand; Walk;
Occasionally Required to Sit; Climb or Balance; and Stoop, Kneel, Crouch or Crawl
Must Occasionally Lift and/or Move Up to 10 Pounds and Occasionally Lift and/or Move Up to 25 Pounds
