AL Resident Assistant

About the role

Resident Assistants play an important role in supporting our residents with their daily needs while promoting their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
• Provide assistance with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Answer resident call lights and respond promptly to resident needs.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition or behavior to the appropriate nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and maintain their independence.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and individual preferences.
• Document care and services provided according to facility procedures.
• Communicate resident concerns and needs to the appropriate team members.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team.
• Willingness to support residents with daily living needs.

Schedule

Full‑Time and Part‑Time positions are available on day, night, and all other shifts.
