Responsibilities

• Assisting servers and delivering food in assigned section(s).
• Maintaining a clean work station and dining area.
• Clearing dining tables and ensuring dishes are taken to dish washing area of the kitchen.
• Ensuring quality with proper presentation and accuracy of food orders.
• Table maintenance to include water refills, removal & replacement of plate ware, silverware and glassware as guest completes each dish.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Must have proven customer service skills.
• Ability to work in an upscale, fast-paced environment, and work well in a team atmosphere, under pressure.
• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and flat ware.
• Ability to know all menu items & ingredients as well as proper presentation.
• Understanding of health and safety rules in a restaurant.
• Knowledge about plating & presentation.
• Strong organization, attention to detail & multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push a cart up to 150 lbs. is required.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
