About The Position

The Clark County Department of Aviation (DOA) is seeking accomplished candidates to apply for the Airport Senior Employee Services Analyst - Training/Learning and Development position. This position will be assigned to the Employee Services Training and Engagement Team and will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Designs, develops, and facilitates internal training content for approximately 1,500 DOA employees.
  • Counsels and advises employees on career development, succession planning, and other employee engagement initiatives.
  • Conducts needs assessments, formulates learning objectives, and creates and facilitates curriculum on a variety of topics to enhance training and development programs.
  • Delivers training through diverse channels and methods including on-site, in-person classes and virtual trainings.
  • Develops curriculum for instructor-led and e-learning formats and produces effective training documentation including workbooks, job aids, online help text, and reference materials.
  • Maintains a flexible work schedule, including availability for some early morning, evening, and weekend assignments.
  • Performs other duties related to employee engagement and well-being.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; AND four (4) years of full-time professional experience in human resources with major emphasis on functional area related to specific job assignment.
  • Professional level experience and/or education that has provided the skills and knowledge necessary to perform all job functions at this level may be substituted on a year-for-year basis up to two (2) years.
  • Experience in more than one functional area of human resources and/or experience in a public agency setting are desirable.

Working Conditions

  • Works in a typical office setting and may attend meetings outside of normal working hours.

Licensing and Certification

  • Specified positions may require possession of a valid Nevada Class C Driver's License at time of hire.

Physical Demands

  • Mobility to work in a typical office setting, use standard office equipment, and be capable of driving a motor vehicle or arranging for transportation in order to attend off-site meetings and visit various work sites;
  • Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen;
  • Hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
