Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 1+ years of Security Experience
- 21+ years of age
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, public agency representatives, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic to help to deter disruptions, support orderly operations, and document security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports of incidents, daily activities, and/or policy violations, and provide requested information to site leadership in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
