About the role
As a Part-Time Airport Security Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in government and other industries. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Security Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to travelers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and other stakeholders by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, public access points, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary.
- Monitor access points and observe activities for unusual conditions, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting compliance with site procedures.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License (+1 years).
- 1+ years of airport security experience.
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening according to DOT Pass and ID office standards.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$25.25 / hour
Schedule
- Wednesday: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM
- Thursday: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM
- Friday: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM
