Airport Security Guard: Part Time Site Observation

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to travelers and staff. You will communicate clearly, document observations using a computer or tablet, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, airport personnel, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned airport facilities, terminals, parking areas, roadways, perimeter areas, and other designated locations.
• Monitor access points, observe activities, and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 21+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet

$26.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
