Airport Planner

About the role

RS&H is seeking an Airport Planner for its Aviation Practice in Tampa, FL. The role involves undertaking challenging technical assignments, discrete planning tasks, major master plan and on‑call planning assignments across the United States. You will assist aviation planning staff on master plans, terminal and site plans, ALP development, support on environmental assessments and other aviation‑specific technical assignments, working under direct supervision as part of the Aviation Planning Service Group that provides consulting expertise to aviation clients nationally.

Responsibilities

• Assist aviation planning staff on master plans, terminal and site plans, ALP development.
• Support environmental assessments and other aviation‑specific technical assignments.
• Undertake challenging technical assignments and discrete planning tasks.
• Participate in major master plan and on‑call planning assignments across the United States.
• Work under direct supervision within the Aviation Planning Service Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Planning, Management, Business, Engineering, Architecture or other professionally recognized equivalent discipline from an accredited university.
• Five or more years of related experience.
