Airport Lounge Cleaner

Pay: $19.00 per hour

About the role

Appearance Care Associates perform a full range of cleaning duties in support of the lounge operations at the premium lounge, by Airport Dimensions supporting the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club, located in the Harry Reid International Airport. They ensure lounge-specified areas are kept clean and orderly, maintaining guest satisfaction and compliance with sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and break rooms
• Restock beverage stations
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers
• Empty wastebaskets and recyclables, transporting them to disposal areas
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors in restrooms
• Replenish restroom supplies and polish metalwork, including fixtures and fittings
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; additional floor work such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing may be required
• Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and window sills
• Notify supervisor of any maintenance repairs or additions needed
• Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures
• Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment, and partitions
• Stand during an entire scheduled shift
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the housekeeping/janitorial field
• Maintain a presentable and polished appearance in keeping with service standards in a best-in-class environment
• Ability to stand during an entire scheduled shift (up to ten hours)
• Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced work shift
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
• Report on work regularly and in a timely manner
• Adhere to all local and state health department guidelines
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Pass and obtain a security background check and clearance to work in an airport environment
