Responsibilities
- Supervises maintenance and repair work on airport equipment, facilities, and buildings.
- Assists with the assignment of work and supervises maintenance staff performing related maintenance functions.
- Oversees work involving HVAC systems, including hot water boiler operations, air handlers, rooftop AC and HVAC units, and sanitary pump station systems.
- Interprets mechanical blueprints and plumbing isometric drawings to support maintenance and repair activities.
- Supervises and performs work utilizing shop floor equipment such as metal brake, band saw, metal shear, and similar equipment.
- Works with all hand and power tools commonly used in the maintenance field.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid State of Ohio Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License required.
- Must successfully complete a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) 10-year fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check, employment background check, and Security Threat Assessment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
- Must be able to work any shift assignment and work overtime during the snow season.
Qualifications
- One year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with a work-order management system (WEBTMA) preferred.
- Two years of commercial maintenance experience preferred.
- Two years of commercial HVAC mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
Pay
$33.44 – $37.79 per hour.
