Airline Lounges General Manager

About the role

Sodexo Live!'s Airport Lounge Segment is seeking a General Manager for the Lufthansa Lounge at Logan International Airport in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage operations, excellent service standards, and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily food operations and delivery of a high-quality product
• Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
• Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
• Motivate, coach, mentor, and develop frontline (hourly) staff
• Ensure Sodexo standards are met, including compliance with company food and physical safety programs
• Fully versed in Profit and Loss, inventory, and fiscal responsibilities of operating a stand-alone business

Requirements

• Work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and collaborative abilities with all levels of the organization
• Experience in a UNION environment
• GM level experience in an elevated, fine dining, or high-volume catering concept or location
• Experience in premium suites/arenas services, cruise lines, or high-volume catering preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for high-level customer service
• Demonstrate flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Experience with automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems
• Working knowledge of financials, preparation, and oversight

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience: 5 Years
• Minimum Functional Experience: 5 Years
