AirLife Flight Nurse

Job Summary

The AirLife Adult/Pediatric Transport Team Nurse utilizes their experience, education, and training to deliver critical care to critically ill and/or injured patients aboard fixed-wing aircraft and ground ambulance between medical facilities or directly from the scene of an accident or illness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• BSN
• 5+ years Critical Care Nursing experience in an ICU or Emergency Department
• Transport experience
• Colorado Registered Nursing license with a multi-state compact designation
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP at time of hire
• CFRN Certification within 2 years
• Attends 8 out of 12 scheduled monthly Flight Staff Meetings in person and completes Webex review of any unattended meetings
• Completes all required training for AirLife, HCA and AirLife vendors
• Maintains current and unrestricted driver's license
