Responsibilities

  • Assists with testing, adjusting, and repairing, and other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes in a safe and clean work environment according to the manufacturer's specifications, Trego Dugan Aviation approved procedures, and customer specifications.
  • Prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Licenses/Certificates: Airframe Certificate required; Powerplant Certificate preferred; valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; tool inventory per department tool list required.
  • Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required; occasional overnight and short-notice travel required.
  • Physical: Routinely lifts up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.; reads small print; hears sounds associated with mechanical deficiencies; repetitive motion; works with moving parts and vibration; tolerates products, materials and fumes associated with component maintenance; tolerates working in confined spaces and heights above four feet; tolerates walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and sitting.
  • Environmental: Tolerates working in extreme temperatures and in noisy environments.

Qualifications

  • Airframe Technician I: High School graduate or equivalent required. Two years of aircraft maintenance experience or an FAA Airframe Maintenance Certificate required. FAA Powerplant Certificate preferred.
  • Airframe Technician II: Airframe License Required; Powerplant License Preferred 2+ years of aircraft airframe maintenance experience with A or A&P certification required. Previous Corporate Aviation or MRO experience is preferred. High school graduate or equivalent required. Experience leading aviation maintenance projects is preferred.
  • Airframe Technician III: Airframe License Required; Powerplant License Preferred IA License Required. (or can obtain within 90 days) 7+ years of aircraft airframe maintenance experience required. Previous Corporate Aviation, Piston, or MRO experience is preferred. Experience leading aviation maintenance projects is preferred. High school graduate or equivalent required.

Skills

Proficiency in the Trego Dugan Aviation work order system, service plans, Tracker, and outside maintenance tracking programs.

Pay

  • Airframe Technician I: $24-$29
  • Airframe Technician II: $29-$34
  • Airframe Technician III: $35+

Schedule

Regularly scheduled attendance required; occasional overnight and short-notice travel required.
