About the role
The Aircraft Technical Representative is a highly visible position, responsible for in-depth analysis of related technical and operational data, configuration manuals and records, maintenance records, and repair analysis. Provides oversight of aircraft heavy maintenance, P2F conversion, and long-term planning activities for Technical Services leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Aircraft Delivery process for specific aircraft as defined from time to time.
- Act as the Designated Representative for aircraft undergoing maintenance and preparatory work, for delivery to a customer.
- Represent the company and provide instruction, direction & authorization related to work on the Aircraft with designated MRO provider.
- Maintain budget oversight over works being performed and scrutinize performance of suppliers, including providing authorization for additional works within scope of delegated authority.
- Coordinate activities across all departments & suppliers to ensure timely aircraft delivery.
- Ensure aircraft is completed on schedule and delivered to the customer in compliance with required delivery conditions including maintenance status and technical documentation.
- Communicate and consult with customers, internal team, and external agents on technical, commercial, and operational matters related to specialization area.
- Direct contact with customers, co-workers across the organization, and external stakeholders.
- Regular interaction and coordination with team members at all levels of our supply chain.

Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or FAA Airframe & Powerplant license, or equivalent field experience suited to this role.
- 5+ years of experience performing airframe product technical management.
- Strong generalist knowledge in commercial aircraft technical management.
- Demonstrable knowledge of all records and regulatory requirements for airframe products and have specialized knowledge of back to birth trace for all life-limited parts.
- Substantial experience supporting and navigating cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated history with and ability to use sound judgement and discretion in dealing with outside vendors, coworkers, customers, and other outside parties.
- Strong proficiency with: Organization and attention to detail, Professional communication, MS Office, particularly Excel, and general office technology.
- Leveraging technology to enhance work processes in compliance with industry requirements.
Qualifications
- Working expertise with FAA regulations, ATA standards, and EASA regulations.
- Physical Demands & Work Environment: While performing the responsibilities of the Delivery Manager, you will be seated at a desk, using a phone and computer, the majority of your workday.
- Less than 5 of your job duties will require the ability to: walk long distances, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- The noise level is usually low, as consistent with an office environment.
- At times, some lifting may be required, up to 50 lbs. to sort and move record containers.
