Aircraft Technical Inspector

About the role

The Aviation Quality Assurance Technical Inspector ensures all aircraft, aircraft component, and shop inspections and tasks are compliant with Yulista's Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures, as well as all applicable/approved technical data.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data collection techniques and procedures for evaluation, inspection, and audit programs, evaluate results, and present findings to management.
• Perform statistical analysis using standard statistical quality control methods.
• Conduct root cause, deficiency, and trend analysis.
• Recommend Acceptable Quality Levels (AQLs), frequency changes to Routine Inspection Lists (RILs), and corrective maintenance actions.
• Evaluate and assess complex systems, subsystems, and components for conformance to technical data, engineering drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Evaluate maintenance activities across various functional areas such as production, programs, mobility, maintenance training, scheduling, and documentation.
• Evaluate special processes like NDI, welding, and soldering for internal employees and approved subcontractors.
• Develop changes in methods, sampling techniques, and control procedures to ensure maximum quality.
• Support audits and provide professional interfaces with customers and/or government personnel.
• Develop briefings for management and define strategies.
• Evaluate training criteria to maintain team skills.
• Carry out audits and provide feedback.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / Equivalent
• Minimum of Six (6) years Aviation Inspection experience
• A & P License or Military School Certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related area preferred

Skills

• Intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical principles
• Intermediate knowledge of advanced software applications
