Aircraft Systems Mechanic - Entry Level

Role: Entry-level Systems Mechanic supporting aerospace manufacturing operations, primarily in Palmdale, CA. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions.Assemble, install, diagnose malfunctions, maintain, disassemble, repair, and reassemble aircraft systems, including hydraulic components.Operate manufacturing controls and ensure quality standards.Recommend continuous improvement activities and ensure safety with PPE and respirator certification. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; 3+ months (Level E) or 9+ months (Level 1) experience in aerospace or related fields.Ability to perform physically strenuous tasks, access confined spaces, and work in enclosed environments.Ability to pass medical/respiratory evaluations and obtain necessary clearances (Secret/Top-Secret).Basic computer skills for navigating systems and completing training.Willingness to work varying shifts and travel up to 10%. Preferred Skills: Plumbing, HVAC, vehicle mechanic experience, completion of A&P program, or active security clearance. Additional: Must pass new hire training, adhere to safety protocols, and meet physical requirements.
