About the role
KBR is seeking an experienced Aircraft Systems Analyst to focus on reliability research and analysis, documentation, and reporting. The role involves coordinating technical data, analyzing and presenting findings, and interacting with government and contractor teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform reliability research and analysis
- Work with government and contractor team members to use reliability software for documentation
- Aid in drafting reports, papers, and presentations on analysis results
- Conduct basic statistical and cost analysis
- Participate in team meetings and interviews
- Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and customers
- Oversee the collection, sorting, and analysis of various qualitative and quantitative data
- Analyze and coordinate technical data according to established procedures and schedules
Requirements
- High School Diploma (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- At least 10 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of fourth-generation fighter aircraft, particularly F-15, F-16, and their systems
- Proficiency in Air Force or civilian technical manuals, policies, and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with technical report writing, meeting minutes creation, and briefing material preparation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar database/reporting software
- Experience working in Government-provided environments, including military installations and test facilities
- Familiarity with FAR 52.245-1 requirements for property accountability and proper handling of Government Furnished Information (GFI) and sensitive technical data
- Ability to set priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
