Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic – SEAM

About the role

The role includes the use of specialist IT applications such as AMOS, e-Learning, MyBoeingfleet, installation and dismantling of system components as instructed, making adjustments on aircraft systems and performing scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance work on aircraft under supervision as well as instructed.

Responsibilities

• Performing metal assembling operations such as cutting, filling, drilling, countersinking, fitting, shimming, adjusting, clamping, bolting, reaming, riveting and bucking work.
• Working with relevant equipment -Bending machines, English Wheel, Flap Peening.
• To find the most suitable repair solutions and implementation.
• Any other duties as requested by your Shift Leader / Hangar Manager.
• A flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills – fluent English is essential.
• Good computer literacy.
• Willingness to work night shifts.

Requirements

• Must hold demonstrable experience of Sheet Metal Work and Structural Repair.
• Previous maintenance experience on B737 is highly desirable.
• Able to work well from one's own initiative while being an integral part of the team.
• Must be able to work and travel within the EU.
• Must have rights to live and work in Malta.
