Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic

About the role

You will be the Production Structures/Assembler, F16 Technician for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Team. Our team is responsible for Production build, repair and delivery of F-16 aircraft to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting blueprints
• Lays out
• Fabricates
• Assembles
• Installs
• Repairs various sheet metal and structural assemblies and sub-assemblies for F16 aircraft utilizing precision measuring equipment
• Knowledgeable in Aircraft Structural Assembly Operation And Maintenance To Include Precision Drilling/Reaming Riveting/installation of various fasteners
• Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft
• Frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50
