About the role

AAR is the place of choice to build an inspiring career. Provide leadership for mechanics. Work on all minor through major repairs, modifications, E.A.s, etc. Monitor and accurately complete all aircraft paperwork to insure safety and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

  • High proficiency in all minor through major repairs, modifications, E.A.s, etc.
  • Highly proficient with forms.
  • Establish work priorities and supervise the work of up to 15 mechanics.
  • Effectively interact with customer representatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year related aviation sheet metal experience and/or training.
  • Hold a minimum of an airframe (A) license.
  • May or may not have a powerplant (P) license.
  • Previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and bar code equipment.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT: Constantly: Lifting 10 lbs., standing, walking, wrist flexion and extension, environmental weather conditions. Frequently: Lifting ≤40 lbs., push/pull 20’, and basic depth perception (shapes). Working at elevated heights ≥4’, working on ladders, scaffolding, uneven surfaces, and energized parts. Occasionally: Lifting and/or carry ≤50 lbs., sitting, basic color vision, operation of motorized or electrical equipment, push/pull
