Responsibilities
- Comprehend and apply PDS Sheets and adhere to paint procedures and techniques.
- Spray Single Stage, Basecoat, Clearcoat, Primer, Anti-static, and Sealers.
- Adjust spray guns for various materials.
- Pass Respirator Fit Test and Medical Evaluation.
- Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
- Operate shop equipment like Paint Booth and Prep Deck.
- Navigate electronic training, manuals, and color matching tools.
- Communicate effectively in English.
- Perform job-related tasks as directed by supervisor or management.
- Travel to customers' hangars for painting work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license for airline travel (optional), or valid passport.
- Knowledge of paint processes, including mixing materials, color cameras, computers, and equipment operation.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and adherence to FAA guidelines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and wear protective gear.
Qualifications
- Physical requirements: Lift 50 lbs, walk, bend, squat, sit, climb ladders, and stairs, work in small spaces, stand for extended periods, wear respirators and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Mental requirements: Understand and implement regulations, work professionally with others, and follow company and safety rules.
- Supervision: Work under the supervision of a Team Leader.
- Working conditions: Controlled environments in industrial warehouses, some travel to aircraft hangars.
- Equipment used: Personal hand tools, Paint guns, Mixing computer, Prep deck, and paint booth.
