Aircraft Manager Completions
About the role
Airbus Americas, Inc is seeking an Aircraft Manager Completions to join our team in Mobile, AL. The ideal candidate will manage assigned aircraft during the production and ground test phase of the assembly process until handover to the completions center (Flight Line).
Responsibilities
- Document, follow, organize, and manage all non-conformities throughout the flowline process.
- Drive closure of issues in collaboration with all relevant parties to ensure production milestones are met.
- Prepare and conduct FOT meetings, ensuring on-time closure of all folio points and non-conformities.
- Prepare Aircraft Documentation for Internal Quality Gates and lead meetings to ensure aircraft status is known by the receiving station.
- In the event of a red quality gate, ensure actions are taken and completed according to plan.
- Function as the L1 link to feed escalations to the ACM IIs by attending L SQCDPs.
- Ensure all escalations are properly documented in Tandem and provide all necessary information for problem-solving.
- Create the MSN status report and send ongoing updates regarding aircraft progress.
- Perform inflow analysis (e.g., Non-Conformities, work orders, QLB, TLB) and distribute new points.
- Guarantee that all information in "Aircraft Progress" aligns with the physical state of the aircraft.
- Proactively address aircraft issue follow-up, anticipate issues, and drive resolution to avoid production risks.
- Generate the daily MSN Report (folio point analysis) and highlight priority topics.
- Responsible for Working Party planning when necessary to solve major issues on aircraft.
- Record information in "Aircraft Progress" and define daily priorities with Station Managers.
- Cooperate in national/international projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. In lieu of a degree, training as a technician in a technical field related to aviation manufacturing is acceptable.
- Three or more years of working experience in aviation-related fields or equivalent experience in manufacturing planning or manufacturing project management.
- Preferred: 1 year of working experience in a leading role.
- Eligible for employment in the US without sponsorship.

Working environment
Located on ‘Airbus Way’ at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft, this site opened in 2015 at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley. The facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. It strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry and is part of Airbus’ strategy to enhance global competitiveness by meeting customer needs in the United States and beyond.
