About the role

Responsible for the maintenance and safety of helicopter fleets, ensuring high-quality transportation and patient care services. Performs mechanical inspections, repairs, and provides status updates to lead technicians. Manages inventory, updates equipment logs, and documents FAA-related paperwork while adhering to policies and security standards. Maintains a safe, clean work environment and facilitates effective communication among departments, vendors, and team members. Collaborates professionally with health, safety personnel, and operations staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections and repairs on helicopter fleets
• Provide status updates to lead technicians
• Manage inventory and update equipment logs
• Document FAA-related paperwork in compliance with regulations
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Facilitate communication among departments, vendors, and team members
• Collaborate with health, safety, and operations personnel

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years turbine helicopter experience
• Valid A&P license
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance systems, and records
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call rotations
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull over 100 lbs.
• Acceptance under FAA drug and alcohol testing

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Bell 206, Bell 407, EC130, EC135
• FAA Inspection Authorization
• Autopilot, avionics, and electrical repair experience
• Experience under CFR Part 135
