Aircraft Maintenance Technician III
About the role
This position offers a unique opportunity to work with some of the most advanced civilian aircraft in the world. The role involves a variety of essential functions including mechanical tasks, troubleshooting, and maintaining aircraft systems.
Responsibilities
- Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems
- Removal and installation of panels and components
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues
- De-fueling aircraft, engine removal/installations
- Operating ground support equipment
- Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components
- Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/taxiing
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment, and tooling
- Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
- Effectively and clearly communicate (speaking, writing, reading) in English
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check. Previous experience in aircraft maintenance or similar field is preferred but not required. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn quickly are also important.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is helpful.
