About the role
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician position is available in Great Falls, MT. This role requires excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to work well with others, and a background in a mechanical field. A&P Certification is preferred but not required. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in a mechanical field and 1-2 years of military or civil aviation experience.
Responsibilities
- Communicate when tasks are complete so the next trade can move onto the job.
- Ensure the work environment is safe and clean.

- Demonstrate capability and competency in the field of expertise.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
- Possess strong fundamental aircraft knowledge.
- Build quality capability and responsiveness for Avmax.
- Carry out maintenance repairs on customer and company aircraft under the supervision of a qualified technician or Lead A&P Technician.
- Completely and accurately sign off work in progress documentation and work cards for work accomplished.
- Report unserviceable equipment to assigned Lead A&P Technician and/or delegate.
- Notify Lead A&P Technician of all defects discovered during maintenance.
- Attend training courses as directed by company management.
Qualifications

- Experience recommended: 1-2 years of experience in a mechanical field.
- Experience recommended: 1-2 years of military or civil Aviation experience.
