About the role

Endeavor Air is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. Operating as Delta Connection, Endeavor flies to 122 destinations in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean from hubs in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Minneapolis, New York, and Raleigh-Durham. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) supports the maintenance and repairs of aircraft to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Determine airworthiness of aircraft and components, in accordance with established procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Service and inspect aircraft, components and related equipment.
  • Operate and inspect powered and non-powered ground equipment.
  • Perform structural repair, inspects and identifies for prevention and repair.
  • Complete aircraft maintenance forms entries and enter data into the Maintenance Data System, ensuring entries are accurate and complete.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with employees and peers.
  • Make clear and concise decisions in a timely manner.
  • Be dependable in completing assignments and meeting deadlines.
  • Act ethically in all work activities, adhere to Endeavor’s core values, and demonstrate a high level of focus on customer service.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Valid Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) Mechanics license.
  • Professional work experience in aviation maintenance field preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks with attention to detail, and have a strong work ethic.
  • Positive attitude, customer service orientation, and reliability.
  • Passport required within 3 months of hire; passport expenses are paid by the employee.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable under company insurance coverage.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use ladders, work stands, lifts, etc., and access all areas of the aircraft.
  • None of the above medical conditions that would prevent certification of aircraft run/taxi of company aircraft and vehicles.
