Aircraft Maintenance Technician - 1052

About the role

This position offers a dynamic career path within a rapidly expanding maintenance repair organization. The role involves a variety of mechanical tasks, system troubleshooting, and aircraft inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and solve aircraft system/component issues.
• De-fuel aircraft, operate ground support equipment, and perform inspections.
• Tag aircraft components, parts, and panels appropriately.
• Report work progress and open items to the Lead Mechanic.
• Communicate effectively and clearly in English.
• Work under specific deadlines and time constraints.
• Notify supervisor of any problems and follow company and safety rules.
• Perform work according to FAA guidelines.

Requirements

• A High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Powerplant License.
• A valid driver's license for airline travel or a valid passport (ideal).
• Basic computer skills for navigating maintenance databases.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Airframe and Powerplant License.
