Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor
Essential Duties
- Supervise maintenance staff in repair, inspection, alteration, and modification on the aircraft
- Make “real time” decisions that affect the company’s performance
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment while operating within company, FAA, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines
- Develop procedures to increase efficiency and reduce overall costs
Job Qualifications And Competencies
- Possess FAA Airframe and Powerplant Licenses and company-issued licenses
- Two (2) years of experience in the maintenance of large aircraft, one (1) year of which as an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic
- Adequate verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of the appropriate parts of the Maintenance Policies and Procedures Manual, including applicable provisions of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous background and/or experience in mechanical operations or endeavors
Physical Requirements
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
- Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally, with assistance from co-workers or tools
