Required Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installs, modifies and tests aircraft structural, composite, avionics, and/or electrical systems to ensure they are operational and meet required quality standards
  • Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems
  • Completes all required documentation in accordance with established company procedures and/or government and customer technical order requirements
  • In the absence of established procedures, confers with Lead Integration Technician and / or Manufacturing Engineer

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Considerable knowledge of: Structural, composite, mechanical and electrical aircraft processes, systems and associated regulations
  • Aircraft related assembly/repair/installation processes, tools, composites, templates, fixtures, testing and measuring devices as well as judgment to determine correct process, tools, and/or material
  • Reading, interpreting, and explaining blueprints, drawings, and maintenance manuals
  • Installing, modifying, and adjusting various complex aircraft assemblies and structures
  • Experience in the use of various hand tools and aircraft electrical crimping tools
  • Experienced in routing electrical harnesses and cables

Education

Typically requires an associate degree in a related field or military/trade school equivalence and five or more years of progressive experience in aircraft assembly, integration and/or maintenance. Additional related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of the formal education.

Pay

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus. Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $45.00
