Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance
- Do basic troubleshooting and repairs
- Ensure minimum schedule impact on all SC Aviation’s managed aircraft
- Work on Hawker, Challenger 300/350s, Falcon 2000s, and Falcon 7X fleets
- Demonstrate technical expertise
- Independently perform scheduled inspections
- Ensure aircraft are safe for flight before scheduled flights
- Perform required operational checks as required for SCA operations
- Communicate with flight crews regarding aircraft status
- Provide daily maintenance work, aircraft status, and time records
Qualifications
- FAA A&P Mechanics License: Essential for compliance and safety
- 2+ Years’ Aviation Maintenance Experience: Proven track record in maintaining aircraft
- Expertise in Aircraft Maintenance: Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in ensuring safe operations
- Mechanical Aptitude: Skilled in inspecting equipment, identifying issues, and performing minor repairs
- Effective Communication: Proven ability to communicate with supervisors, line service, parts, pilots, and dispatch
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office and Windows applications, especially Excel
- Familiarity with Hawker or Falcon aircraft: Preferred but not essential
