Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Determines airworthiness of work performed.
- Examines aircraft, engines, components and materials by using NDT and visual means and records results of inspections to ensure continued airworthiness.
- Process daily incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR Procedures Manual and Customer Requirements Manual.
- Interface with suppliers / product line to disposition rejects.
- Perform NDT inspections in compliance with customer work instructions, and AAR procedures and policies.
- Record all inspection functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the customer policies and procedures.
- Responsible for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of Aircraft and Components.

Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements For The Job:
- NAS410 Level II certification for one or more applicable Non-destructive Testing (NDT) disciplines, such as ultrasonic, eddy current.
- Ability to correctly use one or more types of applicable NDT equipment.
- 3-4 years experience in aircraft NAS410 Non-destructive Testing (NDT).
- Familiar with aircraft manufacturers technical documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret ADs, S/Bs, SRMs, industry NDT specifications and other work instructions.
- Familiar with regulatory requirements of FAR 145 repair station.
- FAA Airframe rating is required, both FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.
- Education And/or Experience:
- Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school.
- Or 4-years related experience and/or training.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
