Responsibilities
- Conduct routine aircraft inspections.
- Plan and prepare for basic inspections.
- Document and report findings.
- Identify and correct minor non-conformities.
- Maintain compliance with inspection schedules and timelines.
Qualifications
- You Must Have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- A higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- An Active, current FAA Airframe (A), or Powerplant (P), or Repairman Certificate.
- A basic understanding of audit and inspection processes and procedures.
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- A thorough understanding of the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of aviation products after maintenance.
- We Prefer:
- Exposure to aviation maintenance and/or inspection operations processes and procedures.
- A background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Work in varying environmental conditions.
- Estimated Starting Salary Range: $26.39 - $36.29.
- The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

- The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
- The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF) handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
- Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use.
